ARE YOU READY FOR THE 4TH OF JULY?

I can not believe the 4th of July is less than a week away! Can you?

Great idea for the 4th of July centerpiece.

Do you need some ideas for the 4TH of JULY? You came to the right blog today!!

I like simple, easy, and not overly kitschy décor so I have found a few fun ideas for you that I would use if I were having a party on the 4TH.

carnations

(for a HOW-To, read Eddie Ross's Blog HERE!)

Simple carnation balls in white containers will always look festive. these are so easy to do with an oasis ball soaked in water over night before adding the carnations.

casual setting

This is such a simple place setting, use a place mat with a napkin on the diagonal for color. I love the simplicity of this, and I would totally use a look like this.

By using flour you can even have a star  greeting for your guest!

Leave it to Martha Stewart to do something so clever. I would love these oversized in the yard! Big is better less is more in my book!

Martha Stewart does it so well and simple

I hope you like some of these simple ideas! I tried to keep it uncomplicated and uncluttered.

Come back this week and I will have a post on some fun 4TH of July treats to eat that are easy to make!!

I agree keeping it simple and casual for the 4th is most appropriate. We are going to be away so I am looking forward to just doing nothing:) I do love entertaining but happy to be getting the break! Hope whatever you do is fun and relaxing.....

Thanks for these inspiring photos. I've yet to bring out the red, white, and blue this summer. Too busy with other things at the moment. Love the sailboat, the flower balls, and those napkins on the diagonal. Need to set a table this weekend and think I just might do this idea. '-)
Happy 4th! ~ Sarah
